Rachelyn joins MIS as an experienced teacher. She graduated from James Cook University with recognition for excellent academic achievement. Rachelyn was previously in the media industry and was pleasantly surprised that the creative and improvisation skills that she gained there are highly valuable in a classroom as well.

To this extent, Rachelyn believes that an effective classroom is one where students are having fun while learning. She is equally passionate about creating a classroom where every student is enabled to achieve their maximum potential. Lastly, Rachelyn is enthusiastic about ensuring young children become excellent communicators and compassionate members of society.

In her free time, Rachelyn enjoys exploring new restaurants in Singapore, and writing stories for children. She has written and published her first children’s book in 2021 and looks forward to publishing her second book in 2022.
