Stephanie Frances Thomson
Class Teacher
Stephanie was born in England, where her passion for equality in education led her to completing her certificate of education with a charity working to address educational disadvantage in the UK. Subsequently, she taught in primary schools across the city of London and became Head of PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education). Stephanie has experience working in a variety of year groups, with children from ages three to eleven. She holds a degree in Biology & Psychology and continues to learn about these subjects as a hobby. In her other spare time, Stephanie enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, and exploring new countries and cultures. She also regularly practises yoga and is a qualified children’s yoga teacher.
Stephanie strives to instil a life-long love of learning in the children she teaches. She believes in the power of a growth mindset, develops a classroom culture where mistakes are celebrated, and constantly challenges children in order for them to reach their full potential. To prepare the children for their futures, Stephanie adopts a holistic approach to teaching with an emphasis on developing children’s curiosity, self-awareness and independence.
