Middleton International School follows a January to December schedule.
Our Tampines campus offers from Nursery 2 to Grade 12. However, our Grade 9 to 12 Cambridge programmes will commence in progressive phases, starting from 2021 onwards (subject to CPE approval).

We plan to have a maximum of 4 classes per level. However, when there is overwhelming demand, the Academic Board has can, at their discretion, increase this number to 5 or 6.
Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2: 1 homeroom teacher and 1 teaching assistant
Grade 1 onwards: 1 homeroom teacher only
Our regular school hours are from 9:00am to 3:30pm for all levels.
We offer the following curriculums as per below:
Early Years – Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2
We offer a unique blend of Reggio inspired Inquire-Think-Learn curriculum of Etonhouse along with a formalized skills-based approach for Primary School readiness. The play-based ITL curriculum allows children to inquire into subject areas of literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and personal, physical and social education through inquiry.
Primary School Years – Grade 1 to 5
The Middleton Primary Curriculum is academically rigorous and inspired by the high standards of Singapore MOE-inspired Mathematics and the Key Stages (UK curriculum) for English, Science and Humanities. The Programme is delivered in the context of the units of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The IPC is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject for personal learning and international-mindedness.
Middle School Years – Grade 6 to 10
The Middleton School Curriculum for Grades 6 to 8 is specifically designed as a gateway, linking the in-depth knowledge, skills and understanding developed in the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) to those in the intensive IGCSE Programme undertaken in Grades 9 and 10.
High School Years – Grade 11 to 12
Middleton International School will offer a rigorous high school curriculum which is the Cambridge International Advanced Level qualifications that prepares learners for university study and is well recognized as a rigorous pathway that prepares students for life in a globalised world.
We are still pending regulatory approval to commence Grade 9 to 12. These classes will commence from 2021 onwards in phases. We do have a good mix of educators from diverse and international backgrounds. They are experienced and professionally qualified educators from Singapore, UK, USA, India, Australia, China etc. Most of our educators have an average of at least 2 to 5 years of teaching experience.
There are specialist teachers for Physical Education (PE), Art and Additional Language lessons.
Middleton offers various interesting and engaging ECA options for our students such as Neuro-ceramics, Cricket, Soccer, Yoga, Lego Robotics, Dance & Stretch, and Chinese Calligraphy etc.
Every student (K2 and above) is entitled to one free internal ECA.
There are also external ECA options, which are optional and payable at an additional cost of $200-500 per term.
All students will be assessed by their English teacher for their English proficiency level during the first few weeks of school. If your child is identified to require additional support in English, he/she will be required to undertake English Additional Language (EAL) Programme.
The duration that your child is required to undertake EAL Programme will depend on the learning ability/ pace of your child. EAL comes with an additional cost of $321 per term.
Middleton offers school meal subscription at an additional cost of $25 per week. School meal subscription is charged on a term-ly basis.
For example, school meal charges will be $250 for a 10-week term.
School meal includes daily morning tea break and lunch prepared by our in-house chefs.
Our Tampines campus offers additional languages in Chinese, Hindi and French at an extra cost of $1,070 per term. Additional language is optional and it is conducted within the school hours.
For students who are not taking additional language, they will have to go for supervised self-study period.
No entrance assessment is required, unless the school report provided is an insufficient indicator of your child’s performance.
Middleton has been EduTrust certified by the Singapore’s Committee of Private Education (CPE) in March 2020. We are accepting applications requiring a Student Pass for Term 3, 2020 enrolment and beyond.
