Akhila is a sincere and dedicated individual with a passion to work with students ,teachers and parents. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education ,Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature, is a certified IBPYP educator and Apple teacher. In her fifteen years of teaching experience in Singapore, she has taken up various roles as homeroom teacher, mentor, curriculum designer and coordinator of grade level and parent engagement events.

She believes in incorporating interdisciplinary knowledge in her teaching practice to engage all students. She is an attentive and adaptable teacher and uses empathy and emotional intelligence skills to effectively manage classroom behaviour.

During her free time Akhila enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking and travelling.
