Jack Mitchell
Secondary Teacher (Humanities – Econs and Business Studies)
Jack Mitchell is an experienced international educator and former school leader with over 14 years of global experience across the UK, USA, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He currently teaches Economics and Business, bringing a leadership-informed perspective to the classroom and a strong commitment to helping students connect academic learning with real-world issues.
Previously serving in senior secondary leadership roles, including Assistant Principal and Head of Student Development, Jack has led teams of teachers, supported whole-school strategy, and developed programmes spanning teaching and learning, safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing. His leadership work has focused on building data-informed systems that improve student outcomes, strengthen teacher practice, and create supportive, high-performing learning environments.
As an Economics and Business teacher, Jack is passionate about developing students’ critical thinking, financial literacy, and global awareness. He designs engaging, real-world learning experiences using current events, data analysis, and discussion to help students become confident, independent thinkers. With a background that also includes experience in the fintech sector, he brings practical industry insight alongside academic rigour to his teaching.
