Marriane Renard
Class Teacher
Marriane comes to Middleton International School as a global citizen of sorts: born in the Philippines,
she lived in sunny south Florida in the United States until her relocation to Germany in 2024.
She is excited to contribute her experiences and join the dynamic international school
community that is thriving at Middleton!
As a certified teacher from the United States, Marriane brings valuable teaching experience at
the primary school level. In her years as a homeroom teacher, she has instructed and supported
diverse learners of varying needs, skillsets, and backgrounds. In her most recent role, she
provided tiered reading intervention for students across the primary grade levels who require
literacy support. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Atlantic
University.
As an educator, she believes in delivering engaging, curriculum-based lessons while creating a
warm learning environment in her classroom, as well as cultivating positive, meaningful
relationships with her students and their families. She strives for excellence and believes in
modelling this trait for her students, and her passion for the primary years drives her to bring
innovative ideas and practices that promote student growth and foster a lifelong love for learning
for her students.
Outside of teaching, Marriane enjoys traveling, learning languages, finding new coffeehouses to
try, and spending time with her family.
