Michael is a dedicated educator from the UK with over ten years’ experience teaching in primary schools. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Sheffield University, he has completed a post-graduate teaching certificate with Moreland University and attained a diploma in TESOL from Trinity College London. He is also a certified IPC teacher.
Michael believes that children learn best by completing authentic tasks. To achieve this aim, he provides his learners with opportunities to make their voices heard within their classroom, their school, and the wider community. Our learners should want to go out into the world and affect change, and we must provide them with the tools to do so. He encourages a student-centred classroom in which the children are involved in all stages of the learning process. A happy classroom is a productive classroom, so Michael puts in lots of effort to deliver enjoyable and effective learning engagements.
