With a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education specialising in TESOL, Ruth brings a strong academic foundation, ten years of diverse teaching experience, and a genuine passion for helping students learn and thrive. She has taught across a wide range of primary grade levels and held various teaching roles including mainstream classroom teacher, learning support teacher, EAL teacher, LOTE (Auslan – Australian Sign Language) teacher, and Curriculum Provision teacher. 

Internationally minded and culturally sensitive, Ruth has also volunteered as a teacher in Myanmar and participated in cross-cultural teaching initiatives. These experiences have reinforced her belief in the importance of fostering global citizenship, intercultural understanding, and respect within the classroom.

Ruth is passionate about supporting each student’s growth, both academically and personally, and about cultivating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Ruth enjoys painting, is an avid reader and is passionate about martial arts, including Muay Thai.
