Sruthi Snehanand
Secondary Teacher (IGCSE, AS & A Level Science)
Born in Mexico to Indian parents, Sruthi spent 20 years living and studying in Toronto, Canada. She holds a double degree in Chemistry (Honours) and Education (B.Sc and B.Ed), with qualifications to teach Chemistry and Physics at the Intermediate/Senior levels, alongside additional credentials in Mathematics. After Canada, she worked in London, England for two years where she also earned her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Having grown up in diverse communities, Sruthi is driven to explore and understand how education systems function across the globe.
Sruthi believes in empowering students to take ownership of their own learning journey and push themselves toward their full potential. She strives to cultivate critical thinking and a questioning mindset, encouraging her students to view the world through the lens of a globally-minded citizen. Outside the classroom, Sruthi is a passionate traveler who loves discovering new cultures and cuisines, and she is thrilled to explore Southeast Asia during her time here. A dedicated dancer her whole life, she continues to practice Bharatanatyam and looks forward to sharing her love for dance with the community.
