Vivian Chung

EAL Teacher

Vivian is delighted to be a part of the EAL Team of Middleton. She believes her students will get to do many fun things, and of course, learn a lot!

She has previously worked as an English class teacher in an international kindergarten and primary school in HK for 9 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and communication, and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL). As much as she misses having my own classroom, she loves being able to work with teachers and students across different year levels. She is also very proud to work in a school that values diversity and that places students at the centre of everything that we do. As a firm believer that the best learning is that which we acquire through our mistakes and failures, she strives to inspire students to adopt a growth mindset; hence embracing their failures in order to really thrive as lifelong learners.

When she is not in the classroom, she spends her time travelling, hiking and playing netball. She is very excited to start my next teaching journey at Middleton and look forward to a great year ahead.
