Vivian Chung

EAL Teacher

Vivian is delighted to be a part of the EAL team at Middleton. She believes her students will get to do many fun things and, of course, learn a lot together!

She previously worked as an English class teacher at different international kindergartens and primary schools in Hong Kong for nine years. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication and a master’s degree in applied linguistics (TESOL). As much as she misses having her own classroom, she loves being able to work with teachers and students across different grade levels. She is also very proud to work at a school that values diversity and places students at the centre of everything that they do. She is a firm believer that the best learning is what students acquire through mistakes and failures. She strives to inspire students to adopt a growth mindset, embracing their failures in order to really thrive as lifelong learners.

When she is not in the classroom, she spends her time traveling, hiking, and playing netball. She is very excited to start her next teaching journey at Middleton and looks forward to the wonderful year ahead.
