Reiko has been living in Singapore for 36years now. She schooled in SJS, SAS and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Human Science Dept) from Waseda University in Japan. She holds AJLC teaching license of Japanese Language to children(both Navite and Non-native course), and English teaching license in Primary School level from J-Shine. Before joining Middleton International School, Reiko has been teaching both English and Japanese to children at local-international school and private school total of 10 years in Japan and Singapore.

Reiko has a passion in bringing children’s positivity through education and she is dedicated to nurture their accomplishments, both academic pursuits and in their emotional well-being through the promotion of mindfulness. When outside of school, Reiko loves to travel around the world to experience different culture and try the local delicacies! She has been practicing yoga for 15 years, love to shop and cook!
