Darilene is an ardent believer that every child is a capable and competent learner deserving of respect and encouragement. With a commitment to empowering young minds, she strives to foster a love for learning that transcends beyond the classroom walls. Darilene is guided by the philosophy that the environment acts as the third teacher for children, she dedicates herself to designing classroom spaces and planning learning experiences that ignite curiosity and encourage exploration.

In her role as a teacher, Darilene commits herself to shape the educational experiences of young learners by providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment for them in her classroom.

Darilene graduated with a Graduate Diploma (Post Graduate) in Early Years Education from Edith Cowan University and has accumulated valuable experience in educating children aged 18 months to 7 years old in the last seven years. Her teaching journey spans both school settings in Australia (Perth) and local preschools in Singapore.

During her free time, Darilene enjoys volunteering in church where she actively helps out in the children’s ministry on a weekly basis. She is also an avid lover of coffee and enjoys exploring various coffee establishments around Singapore with her loved ones!
